History of Our Journey

Our journey began modestly with a small-scale angel farm facility in 1995. In 2003, Randika Aquarium Farmhouse ventured into the exporting industry. Since our inception, our unwavering goal has been to craft high-quality products for our customers. Through a journey marked by continuous development, experience, research, and dedicated effort, we have emerged as the foremost fish-exporting company in Sri Lanka.

Environmentally Friendly

Our commitment to environmental sustainability is evident using our water recirculation system. This system ensures that the water housing our fish remains pristine, healthy, and free from pollutants. Not only does this promote the well-being of our fish, but it also minimizes the impact on the natural ecosystems from which water is typically sourced. Recognizing our responsibility to protect the environment for future generations, we have taken a significant step by installing a solar power system for our facility.

Why Choose Us?

We operate as one of the largest ornamental fish exporters in Sri Lanka. Our extensive setup consists of two buildings that house our packing, office, and quarantine areas. Furthermore, we have dedicated sections specifically designed for quarantine purposes. In our company, we maintain a diverse collection of freshwater and saltwater aquarium fish, along with a selection of ornamental shrimps, crayfish, and snails. In total, we are proud to export a wide range of aquatic life, comprising 500 species of freshwater, saltwater fish, crustaceans, mollusks, as well as aquatic plants (with a total of 300 species).

Product Quality

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of product quality, and as such, we follow fundamental practices to ensure excellence. With our extensive network of suppliers, we maintain a vigilant and continuous oversight of their facilities to guarantee product quality. Biosecurity is the cornerstone of our operations, and substantial investments have been made in advanced measures to safeguard our fish. Our quarantine facilities adhere to the industry’s most rigorous standards, subjecting every exported fish to a comprehensive quarantine period (minimum 14 days, subject to change based on species) to guarantee freedom from diseases. Our dedicated laboratory facilities for disease diagnostics, coupled with our experienced team of aquatic experts, ensure meticulous monitoring and care for each fish, guaranteeing optimal health before shipment.
